Meet The New Me

“And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:” Colossians 3:10

I thrive on schedule, and my whole life is a living testimony of how my schedule has been my psychiatrist. When everything that represents “sameness” in your life has been taken away from you, there are very important steps to follow that will keep your spirit refreshed and renewed every day. This is one antidepressant that works, and has no long-term side effects.

If I did not take these vital steps, I would not be in America today, and I would not be the wife of a Sunday school teacher. It gets very ugly when you choose to rebel and live a life confused by the world’s doctrines, and Satan’s lies. And, those times where I have been stubborn in submitting to His ways, I have felt the threads of my old rags (my solutions), choking my joy.

I thought, Mmm...The new man has a new heart, new thoughts, and a new life. He is renewed in knowledge. With the new man there is a growth and a renewal; he grows continually in the knowledge of Christ and into his image. Doesn't that give you hope? I was reminded once again, that putting "off" my old nature in the areas I know are not pleasing to God is a conscious choice. I literally have to say, "No," to the natural tendencies and "Put On" the new man that God has shown me - adopting new principles and entering a new course of life.

Don't you feel like a 'new woman' just reading His word and being encouraged throughout your course of the day? And, our families are the beneficiaries!

I love the ‘new me’ and I Love You!

Deborah
