How To Be Graceful

Treading water is not a new concept for me. So far, I have been rescued twice in my life. Once was during a panic attack after someone pushed me off a jetty into deep water, and the other time was when my sail broke whilst windsurfing.

Once again, I had to be fished out of the ocean.

When we see someone drowning, humanity has the responsibility to rescue the person whenever possible. You wouldn't stand by and watch them drown. We have an innate desire to help.

A key element to the Kingdom Woman's profile is that she is continually training herself to look for opportunities to help others.

Understanding our position in Christ as a Kingdom Woman equips us with the knowledge to move ahead. In essence, we are cultivating a heart for others. The key is to never stop learning and to take your position seriously.

We are all a work in progress. Nonetheless, a mark that distinguishes a Kingdom Woman is her heartbeat for sharing what flows from within. She develops what she was created to be.

A Kingdom Woman is distinguished. You can spot the difference.

We are designed to meet a need, not to be needy.

It is an honor to walk toward a specific mark with a plan and a purpose. Our design for life comes directly from the Designer, Jesus Christ. He is a picture of beauty and a breastplate of glory. Not one feature in His glorious person attracts attention at the expense of others; but He is perfectly and altogether lovely.

A wonderful proverb from the Bible says, "He that loveth pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend." Proverbs 22:11

I love pureness of heart; when our conscience is good, our talk wise, and our walk godly. It is learned.

To be pure in heart is to hate any impurity; deceit, dissimulation, anything selfish and sinister. A woman that is pure in heart takes care to approve herself sincere, not by her words but by her deeds. She is just and fair by principle. She delights in nothing more than to keep her own conscience clean and void of offence.

A Kingdom Woman must also speak with grace, not to be false or flatter; she delivers her sentiments decently and ingeniously - in a language that is as clean and smooth as her spirit.

In a world tossed around this ocean called life, you can't get better than the honor availed to a child of the King.

In fact, a Kingdom Woman's day starts with a prayer something like this;

Heavenly Father,

I know you have ordered my steps today and that you go before I have arrived to my destination. Keep me in tune, not consumed.

Lay opportunities on a path toward others; a kind word, an encouraging conversation, a pot of hot soup, a smile for my child....

Thank you for your grace - a grace transferred through me today. Help others to trace your grace.

Amen
